Judah is Back Home!!!

Posted by GameSetMatch on 21st March 2012

This Saturday, March 24th, Zab Judah (41-7 with 28 KOs) will step back in the ring in Brooklyn, New York. Judah has not fought in Brooklyn since his golden gloves bouts and is very excited to come back home to Brooklyn. He will be facing a tough opponent in Vernon Paris (26-0 with 15 KOs) from Detroit, Michigan. This IBF junior welterweight eliminator looks like it can be the last chance for the seasoned veteran Zab Judah.

Coming off a TKO loss to former champ, Amir Khan, Judah looks to jump right back in to title contention with a win. The winner of the bout becomes the mandatory challenger for the IBF junior welterweight title, which is currently held by Lamont Peterson. Peterson will rematch Amir Kahn with the WBA and IBF titles on the line for the second time after their highly controversial split decision going to the way of Peterson.

I believe that Judah can win this fight if he uses his jab efficiently to set up his left. Also that lead hook of his is very dangerous and can cause problems if he can land it on Paris. My prediction for the fight is that Judah will win a rough and tough fight via Unanimous decision. If you cannot make it to the fight do not worry, you can catch the fight on NBC at 10 p.m. EST.
